At De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés,
our commitment exceeds the scope of our legal services. We are actively involved in the future of our professional community and in a number of converging social and environmental actions aimed at promoting sustainable development.
The members of our teams, some of whom are
Doctors of Laws and/or professors, contribute to the
training of new generations of lawyers and entrepreneurs at the ESSEC Paris business school and in several universities, such as Paris, Nancy, Saint-Etienne, Strasbourg, Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, etc.
Our organization is especially supportive of the
emergence of new talent from all walks of life, awarding a scholarship to the Paris institute of political studies law school and an annual "Rising talent in insurance law" prize to a promising young professional talent at the Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne's Insurance Institute.
We are committed to
diversity. Although we have no formal affirmative action policy, our teams naturally rank among those with the highest number of female professionals in. We contribute
financially and personally to several charitable and humanitarian actions such as the "Virades de l'espoir” organized by “Vaincre la Mucoviscidose”, a French organization against cystic fibrosis, and the "Course des lumières” which aims to raise funds for the Marie Curie Institute for cancer research. Finally, we are proud to be the official sponsor of blind equestrian rider
Verity Smith, a determined ambassador of top-level sports.
On a more down-to-earth level: since 2009, the control of our collective
environmental impact has involved streamlining the use and recycling of our consumables (for example in 2018, paper sorting has saved the equivalent of 103 trees). We have also organized parking spaces for bicycles, set up remote working / dialogue tools, subscribed to a "green energy" supply, and we have been
sponsoring bees since 2019.
