Jerome advises and assists his clients in their structuring of financing transactions in a cross-border context. He has assisted over the years large and reputational French and European companies in the financial structuring of their acquisitions worldwide and in particular in the USA.
Before joining De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, Jerome was heading the Corporate Solutions Group for Citigroup where he was in charge of large companies headquartered in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Previously, Jerome was a Managing Director at Société Générale in Paris in the Structured Solutions Group where he dealt with French based corporate clients and international financial institutions involved in large M&A financing and refinancing transactions. Jerome started his career in Chicago working in the US tax department of the French Group Schneider Electric before working for Ernst & Young LLP in New York as Senior Tax Manager.
Jerome holds a Master degree (DESS) in Corporate Taxation from the University of Paris IX Dauphine and a Master degree (DEA) in Banking and Business Law from the University of Paris II Pantheon-Assas. Since 1999, he qualifies as an attorney in France. He is FCA and AMF certified.
Jerome has been teaching tax and structured finance to LLM and MBA students in France and abroad over the past fifteen years.
